NAFTA's Effects On Canada
Similarly to Mexico, Canada's exports have had a major increase since the creation of NAFTA in 1994. As a result for the high demand of goods needing to be exported, Canada's per capita steadily decreased in the early years of NAFTA. In more recent years, Canada's per capita have been on the rise and actually surpassed the per capita before the creation of NAFTA. Canada has done a far greater job developing from NAFTA than Mexico, and for the most part has became a very successful nation. Not only are exports at an all time high, but Canada has been able to have a stable environment for their factory workers.
Consensus: Canada has exported the most goods it ever has before while eliminating potential drawbacks from major production of goods.
